When I wrote the mission statement almost four months ago, I thought I would launch much faster. Alas, preparing high-quality posts, as well as writing and editing them, takes a long time. And RPA Patterns is only one of several projects competing for my spare time.
The main reason for the delay, however, has been that I have a tendency to get bored with projects, so I decided to launch with some kick-ass starter content in the form of the Splitting Things Up guide in order to see if I’ll stick to this one. Overall, I’ve already spent well over 100 hours on the site, so I hope you’ll enjoy it.
I also contributed a few smaller patterns to give you a general taste of what’s to come: check them out here.
While there was little point writing blog posts before the launch, I will now publicly commit to making at least one post every week (probably on the week-end). There may be more, they may be short, they may be long, but I’ve found that nothing beats a disciplined habit in the long run.
If you’d like to be notified when these come out, subscribe to the RSS feed. I’m also planning to add e-mail notifications, but this is still work in progress.
